Terms of sale
Last updated September 2026
These terms apply when you acquire a work from WARQ. Please read them before you pay. If anything is unclear, write to us and we’ll explain.
1. Who we are
WARQ is operated by WARQ Studio, a business based in Lahore, Pakistan ([Registered address], Lahore, Pakistan; NTN [NTN]). You can reach us at [email protected].
2. How an acquisition works
- You send an enquiry through the website or by email. An enquiry does not commit you to anything.
- We reply with a written quotation: the work, its edition number, the delivered price in your currency, and the expected dispatch date.
- If you accept, we send payment details. We reserve the work for you for the period stated in the quotation.
- A contract between us is formed when we confirm, in writing, that we have received your payment in full. Until then, either of us may withdraw without cost.
3. Prices and payment
Prices are shown in pounds sterling (UK), US dollars (US) or Pakistani rupees (Pakistan), depending on where the work will be delivered. The price in your quotation is the price you pay.
Unless your quotation says otherwise, prices for delivery to the United Kingdom and the United States include insured shipping, import duties and import taxes, so nothing further is due on arrival. Prices for delivery within Pakistan include insured shipping. For other countries we quote individually, and import duties and taxes are usually payable by you on arrival.
Payment is by bank transfer or another method we agree with you in writing. Bank charges on your side are yours to pay. We never ask for card details by email.
4. The works
Every WARQ work is made by hand using traditional repoussé. Hammer marks, small irregularities, variations in tone and the way the surface ages are part of the work and are not defects. No two works in an edition are identical. Photographs are taken with care, but colour and finish can look different on different screens.
Editions are limited to the number stated for each work and are not enlarged once published. Each work comes with a numbered certificate of authenticity that can be verified at warqstudio.com/verify.
5. Delivery and risk
We deliver to the address you give us, using an insured, tracked courier. Details are in Shipping & duties. The work is at our risk until it is delivered to you. Ownership passes to you once we have received payment in full.
6. Damage in transit
If a work or its frame arrives damaged, tell us within 7 days of delivery, with photographs of the work and the packaging, and keep the packaging. We will arrange collection, repair the work and reship it at our cost. If a repair isn’t possible, we will offer a replacement from the same edition if one is available, or a full refund.
7. Cancellations and returns
See Returns & care. In short: if you are a consumer in the United Kingdom, you have a legal right to cancel within 14 days of delivery. Otherwise, sales are final once payment has been made, except for damage in transit or where the law of your country gives you rights that cannot be excluded. Commissions and works made to your specification cannot be cancelled once work has begun.
8. Commissions
Commissions are agreed in a separate written proposal setting out the design, size, price, deposit, schedule and what happens if plans change. Where it differs from these terms, the proposal applies.
9. Designs and images
Acquiring a work gives you ownership of that physical object. The designs, drawings, photographs and the WARQ name remain ours. You may photograph and share images of the work you own, including online.
10. Our responsibility to you
We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care. We are not responsible for loss that was not foreseeable, or for business losses. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including your statutory rights as a consumer.
11. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan. If you are a consumer living in another country, you also keep the protections of the mandatory consumer laws of that country, and you may bring a claim in your local courts. If something goes wrong, please write to us first. Most things can be put right quickly.
12. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page when we confirm your payment is the one that applies to your acquisition.
